Downtown offers plenty of free parking for your convenience with on-street and public parking lots throughout. In the Main Street area, commuter lots are open to the general public without paying the daily fee after 3 p.m.  Before 3 p.m., daily parking is $1 payable at the automated commuter parking fare terminals located near each station. Orland Park is a great place to travel by bicycle. New improvements to the bike trail system are being made all the time. The Bikeways Map shows the existing and planned bicycle routes through the village. Along the way, you'll find scenic views of natural and artistic features in and around Humphrey Woods, McGhinnis Slough and the Art in the Park Sculptures. Additionally, bikers can enjoy over 100 miles of paved bicycle trails and over 200 miles of multi-use trails in the  Forest Preserve District of Cook County.
