143rd Street & LaGrange Road Intersection

The Mayor and Trustees have made a commitment to the Village residents to improve the quality of the streets in Orland Park including pursuing improvements to the intersection of 143rd Street and LaGrange Road.

Intersection improvements will span from the METRA overpass to 144th Place on LaGrange Road and on 143rd Street, from Beacon Avenue to 95th Avenue.

The utility improvements and utility relocations were needed prior to the start of the roadway construction.  The utility improvements were completed in 2010. 

These illustrations show how the intersection looked prior to the watermain and utility construction in 2010 and what it will look like after the lane and aesthetic improvements. 

The roadway construction has begun at the intersection and has entered the Stage One Construction alignment for the lanes.  To read about the current construction status and lane closures visit 143rd and LaGrange Construction Status.
